How to plan bills before the next paycheck

A paycheck later in the period can cover the period’s total without helping with a bill due today.

  1. Check when the income is available

Look at the paycheck’s available date. A planned paycheck has not necessarily been received.

  2. Look for earlier bills

Compare bill dates and any planned payment dates with the income date. Open “Why this amount?” for the timing explanation within the selected Bill Sheet.

  3. Decide whether a payment can wait

If needed, check with the provider about payment options. Recording a later date in OurBills does not extend the actual deadline or waive a late fee.

  4. Record your decision

Set a planned payment date if you decide to move the payment. Selecting a paycheck’s date does not assign the bill to that paycheck or automatically allocate early pay.
