Using OurBills
OurBills is household bill-planning software. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use OurBills.
Not financial advice or a payment service
OurBills does not provide financial, legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice and does not pay bills or move money. Projections depend on the information you provide. You remain responsible for checking account balances, bill amounts, due dates, planned payment dates, available funds, and every financial decision or transaction.
Your account
Provide accurate contact information, keep your credentials confidential, and use a password you do not reuse elsewhere. Notify support@ourbillsapp.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address or sign-in provider used for your account.
Household sharing
If you join or invite someone to a shared household, members may be able to view and change household planning information. Invite only people you trust and review household access when circumstances change.
Plus subscriptions
OurBills Basic is free. OurBills Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, the billing period, and any free trial are shown in the app before you subscribe. Free trials are offered only to eligible accounts; unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel or manage a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app or your OurBills account does not cancel a store subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Theme purchases
Premium themes and theme collections are one-time purchases made through the App Store or Google Play. They belong to your OurBills account and remain available after a Plus subscription ends, for as long as your account remains active.
App store terms
If you downloaded OurBills from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store’s terms also apply to your use of the app. Apple and Google are not responsible for OurBills, its content, maintenance, or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for the iOS app and may enforce them.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to OurBills systems;
- upload malicious code, impersonate another person, or submit abusive or unlawful content;
- use OurBills to violate another person’s rights or applicable law; or
- circumvent security, rate limits, purchase or subscription checks, or account restrictions.
Changes to features
OurBills may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. Some features may be labeled as previews or early access; they may be incomplete or change without notice.
Feedback
If you send feedback, you allow OurBills to use it to understand, improve, and develop the product without an obligation to implement a suggestion or compensate you.
Ownership
OurBills and its software, product design, brand, and related materials remain the property of their respective owner. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use OurBills while your account remains active. Information you enter remains yours.
Availability and disclaimers
OurBills is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No guarantee is made that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular financial decision. Keep independent access to the bill, bank, and payment information needed to manage your obligations.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, OurBills is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use, interruption, inaccurate inputs, missed obligations, or reliance on projections. Rights and responsibilities that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Ending your use and account deletion
You may stop using OurBills at any time and can delete your account in the app or by following the steps on the Data deletion page. Access may be suspended or ended to protect users or the service, address misuse, or comply with law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised as OurBills changes. The effective date above is updated when revisions are published, and continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.
