The planning routine

Your regular bill check

01

Review account balances

Check your bank and update the balances you include in OurBills. Balances are entered manually; bank transactions do not sync automatically.

02

Open the current Bill Sheet

Review the bills and income for those dates. Open “Why this amount?” to see what contributes to Available, including money set aside for Goals and Holds.

03

Record payments

Pay through your bank or bill provider, then mark the bill paid in OurBills. Mark it cleared once the payment appears in the account and your reviewed balance reflects it.

04

Save your review

Use Mark Bills Done to save a record of your review. This records your check of the Bill Sheet; it does not send payments. With Plus, you can also review future Bill Sheets.

Why this amount?

What does Available include?

Available is an estimate for the selected Bill Sheet. “Why this amount?” lists the included balances, income, bills, Goals, and Holds. It also explains which bills need attention before the next income arrives. Expected income may be part of the total even though it is not in your bank yet.
